The Account Representative is responsible for driving sales and fostering growth of Tyler Software products and services within our existing Municipal Justice client base.  The Account Representative is expected to develop professionally and meet or exceed sales targets. Account Representatives focusing on Tyler’s Municipal Justice solutions, will collaborate with clients to optimize court operations and enhance information flow across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a deep understanding of Tyler products and services to effectively address the needs of existing clients.
  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships with clients to promote the sale of additional products and services.
  • Proactively reaches out to clients to identify their needs and gauge interest in new offerings.
  • Clearly explains product capabilities, answers client questions, and resolves issues to facilitate sales.
  • Follows up on leads from internal teams to address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Manages the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing the sale.
  • Travels to user groups, trade shows and client sites as necessary.
  • Assists in preparing responses to RFPs.
  • Achieves or exceeds a set annual sales quota.
  • Travel between 25-50%.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in the court domain is a plus.
  • Previous sales experience in the software industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working in sales CRM system is a plus.
  • Must have a competitive drive and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills; public speaking experience is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in general computer skills (PC) and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to travel as needed, estimated at 25-50% annually.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $37,782 - $49,713 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
