The Benefits Enrollment Specialist will oversee and serve as the central point of contact for all areas of the School ERP Pro (powered by Infinite Visions) Insurance Tracking module, Employee Access Benefits Enrollment module and HIPAA 834 files and other enrollment reporting.  Also included is the TPA (Third Party Administrator) Interface module. The Benefits Enrollment Specialist will be the primary consultant, trainer and support for all clients that have the Benefits Enrollment Annual Service Package and other clients who do not that are considered billable.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze information from client and assess any special needs and considerations that may impact new client implementations.
  • Configure insurance tracking based on client needs.
  • Develop implementation project plans and timelines with clients.
  • Review initial configuration setup, communicate, and train client.
  • Manage scope, time, and cost to meet client commitments.
  • Test and stage all aspects of software application for new and existing clients.
  • Identify and manage project obstacles to overcome prior to going live.
  • Train users in system setup, processes, and maintenance.
  • Provide Benefits Enrollment virtual training
  • Act as a client liaison and representative communicating client feedback to Benefits Enrollment Product Analyst to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare training documentation for clients.
  • Provide follow up training for new and existing clients.
  • Report status and product issues on new clients to Project Managers.
  • Consult with existing clients on insurance tracking changes on an annual basis.
  • Develops and communicates possible solutions, and/or work-around required by clients.
  • Research and work with multiple Insurance Carriers and our development team to ensure HIPAA 834 reporting and other enrollment requirements are met.
  • Validates and documents Product Modifications requests providing recommendations to the Benefits Enrollment Product Analyst.
  • Provides an escalation point for product issues that can’t be resolved by Technical Support Analysts but requires more research or clarification before possibly being escalating to development.
  • Identifies and analyzes high-level program code related application problems.
  • Researches and interprets product requirements of client’s insurance carriers and/or third-party administrators.
  • Assists Development with testing product enhancements and fixes before releasing to clients.
  • Reviews training curriculum and help text, making recommendations for changes.
  • Continually monitors and communicates with clients regarding product requirement changes.
  • Work with clients, external insurance carriers and development to ensure HIPAA 834 reporting needs are met while maintaining HIPAA 834 standards.
  • Stay current on related insurance and HIPAA 834 standards and laws to help ensure product meets industry regulations. Works closely with Product Analyst, Programmers, and other Product Consultants. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable major concentration or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years experience in insurance/benefits administration or software development, product consulting and/or support experience related to Human Resources, Payroll or Insurance fields.
  • Academically capable and able to grasp highly technical information.
  • Analytical and logical thinking skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of software development process
  • Ability to work effectively with sensitive customer situations.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Aptitude in computers and information technology
  • Typing/keyboarding skills to perform data entry and typing requirements.

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $46,637 - $75,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
