Collections Supervisor - Manila

We are seeking to add a Collections Supervisor in our Manila, Philippines location to be responsible for supervising two Collections Specialists and focusing primarily on the administration and documentation for our collection activities.  
 
This position will work the night shift to collaborate with U.S. leaders, counterparts and team members. 
 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with Tyler operations management to escalate collections activities or determine and gain approval for client concessions to aid in collections of outstanding accounts receivable balances 
  • Create aged receivables reports with advisory commentary and facilitate monthly meetings with divisional managers and stakeholders 
  • Develop strategies and negotiate with clients to maximize the possibility of collecting the amount owed to Tyler 
  • Manage collection meetings with senior management 
  • Determine the collection responsibilities and supervise the Collections Specialists 
  • Work with the collections staff to train new employees and ensure a high level of position understanding   
 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience  
  • 3-5 years of credit and collection experience 
  • Experience with collecting high value transactions  
  • Accounting background desired  
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and customer service skills  
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Must be able to work at least 3 to 4 days a week at our BGC Office in Taguig.
