Tyler Technologies is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the Civic Services marketing team!  Are you passionate about creating great content, executing effective lead generation campaigns, and working collaboratively with a fabulous and diverse team? The Marketing Specialist executes projects that meet business goals, generate leads, increase brand recognition for Tyler solutions, and create loyalty among our prospects and clients. You will work cross-functionally, assisting the Civic Services marketing team with a variety of projects, including content development, project management, and campaign planning and execution. This role requires collaboration with others for project planning and the ability to work independently to execute multiple concurrent campaigns and projects. Your work will enhance the brand, position Tyler for consideration, and help close new business.

As a part of Tyler’s corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative, multi-faceted marketing campaigns, which may include email, blogs, white papers, social media, web, webinars, infographics, advertising, videos, and in-person touchpoints with clients and prospects.
  • Be curious and collaborative – engage with internal subject matter experts to learn about our products and our client’s needs to develop more informative and targeted content and campaigns.
  • Become adept in the Tyler voice and writing style, to write effective, compelling content.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for driving Tyler’s messaging and content to our marketplace in a highly impactful way.
  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive engagement and generate leads
  • Track project, campaign, and advertising results for reporting.
  • Stay abreast of industry and marketing best practices, trends, ideas, tools, and technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience
  • A deep understanding of marketing vehicles, including email, collateral, video, trade shows, advertising, web, and content marketing
  • Outstanding writing and storytelling skills are required, including the ability to create impactful marketing messages for a business to business or business to government audience
  • Proven experience effectively managing a variety of marketing projects and timelines
  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • An understanding of graphic applications, image/media files, web media/interactive marketing, etc.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to exceed expectations
  • Must enjoy collaborating within a team environment
  • Technology/software industry and public sector experience preferred.
