Leading Web Services and E-Commerce company seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to complement our growing team in Topeka, Kansas.  Tyler Technologies' Kansas Enterprise helps Kansas government entities Web-enable their information services. Our electronic government solutions use technology to increase efficiency and reduce costs for governments and their constituents. 
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of discovery, requirements gathering and documentation of functional and technical software requirements. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly versatile and talented, team. 
 
The best qualified candidates will have at least 5+ years of real-world experience as a Project Manager. Familiarity with Web applications and Internet technology, strong communication and writing skills are a must. A strong work ethic, great attitude and dedication to success are expected.  Our team members are self-motivated professionals who enjoy the challenge of implementing project management and business solutions in a high-pressure, client-services entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own product direction, roadmap, definition, and delivery of several simultaneous online applications.
  • Gather customer requirements for online business process including (but not limited to) filing and payments online.
  • Negotiate requirements with several cross-functional groups –customers, customer service, and development.
  • Drive product definition, development, launch, and ongoing maintenance
  • Evaluate and propose new business opportunities.
  • Establish project milestones and timelines based on the design and scope of work.
  • Assign project management team members to appropriate projects.
  • Provide assistance with overall project coordination.
  • Attend weekly project meetings to disseminate project status information.
  • Business Analyst experience is a plus.
 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business.
  • Minimum of five years of prior experience.
  • Must display a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers with varying technical experience or knowledge
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and deliver results to meet customer expectations
  • Proven experience managing clients or partners to a specific business or solution objective.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment
  • Must enjoy working both independently and within project teams
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and pay obsessive attention to detail
