The Senior Integrations Engineer provides technical expertise in support of integration elements of Tyler software products across various systems management technologies, such as virtualization, networking, servers, databases, and system performance. You combine passion for outstanding customer service with a product mindset to ensure that key insights are communicated to our product teams. We are looking for people who have the expertise of managing technical integrations, fostering developer/business relationships, and who have a desire to improve the support experience of our internal and external customers.

Responsibilities 

  • Assist our customers in managing complex enterprise systems, and high-quality tools that enable their business.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues, including full web stack, SOAP, and REST-API technologies and architectures.
  • Work closely with product managers, product designers, and engineering to lead or contribute to large-scale projects.
  • Act as a portal for technical communication between outside developers and our product teams.
  • Independently frame issues and translates them into actionable insights, with minimal guidance or input from manager.
  • Proactively and independently lead the strategic direction of area of ownership or project.
  • Effectively complete several concurrent complex activities and execute on projects with minimal direction.
  • Provide valuable perspective and support to team members on integration support and initiatives. Define and structure problems with the aim to improve a project and/or process.
  • Effective and proactive communicator across markets and cross-functional divisional teams.
  • Comfortable presenting among a wide variety of audiences in a clear and effective manner.
  • Fosters strong relationships in cross-functional teams and able to persuade outcomes.
  • Work with Development, passing information to and from other teams.
  • Work with Technical Support on issues that require advanced troubleshooting or solutions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Proficient in Windows System Administration and IIS Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of the SDLC.
  • Experience building integrated solutions in AWS
  • Experience with MS Server, virtualization, data storage, and networking
  • Experience reading XML
  • Experience with the full web stack, SOAP and REST API and technologies.
  • Project management experience communicating with people at all levels (internal and external).
  • Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience.
  • Experience communicating with cross-functional partners (both technical and non-technical audiences).
  • Adapt to changing product and environments; eliminate team knowledge gaps in legacy, current and future products, and services.
  • Stay current on new technology from an integration perspective as well as internal product advancements.
